The Theory of Seven

The number seven is very pronounced throughout the Bible.  God rested on the seventh day after creating the world.  Jesus told Peter that one should forgive his brother seventy times seven.  We see seven stars, seven churches, seven years of tribulation, seven seals, seven trumpets, and seven bowls of God wrath in the book of Revelation to name a few.  As you take a closer look, you will find that seven is the number which God uses as His fingerprint throughout the text.  In the Torah, which is the first five books of the Bible we see one of God’s fingerprints in the form of an equal distance letter sequence.  In both Genesis and Exodus, every forty-ninth letter spells the word Torah over and over again in the original Hebrew.  Notice that the number forty-nine is a multiple of seven.  Every forty-ninth letter in Numbers and Deuteronomy also spells Torah, but backwards.  The center book of the Torah is Leviticus.  Here we see something intriguing.  Every seventh letter spells Yahweh which is the unpronounceable name of GOD in the Jewish community.  As you can see, the Bible is amazing and it is truly the Word of GOD.  Seven Theory Ministries desire is that you would have a relationship with GOD through Jesus Christ and that you would be as astonished with His Word as we are.
